Age 81, of Osseo passed away April 8, 2013. Loving husband, father, grand- father, and great-grand- father. Preceded in death by infant son, James Ronald; mother, Margaret Redmann and step-father, Irvin Redmann. Survived by wife of 57 years, Elaine; children, Gary (Sue) Underwood, Lynn (Steve) Ballinger, Lori Underwood, Karen (Thomas) Pettygrove, and Jean (Brian) LeBahn; grandchildren, Sarah, Natalie, Brittany, Austin, Kylie, Michael, Brandon, and Jennifer; great-granddaughter, Penelope; and brother, Ronald Underwood. Retired after 25 years as a Mpls. Police officer. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10 am at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 9100 93rd Ave. North, Osseo. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 5-8pm at Gearty- Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 37th Ave. North & Vicksburg Lane (763-553-1411) and 1 hour before the Mass at church. “You will be greatly missed and we love you!”
