Age 75, of Edina, MN. Passed away surrounded by family on April 4, 2013. Served in the US Air Force. Graduated from the U of M. Retired Mpls Lt. Police Officer for 40 years. Preceded in death by parents and brothers. Survived by loving wife of 49 years, Alyce; children, Tim, Kelly (Kent) Nielsen; grandchildren, Lydia and Drew; John Veda; brother, Vern (Carol); brothers-in-law, Jerry Westergaard, Lenny (Pam) Westergaard; sister-in-law, Margie Westergaard; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
