DAN ENGEBRECHT ROEN
Dan E. Roen, 61, of Cloquet, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
He worked in law enforcement for many years, retiring from the Minneapolis Police Department as lieutenant in 2008.
Dan was preceded in death by parents, Perry and Helen Roen of Esko; and devoted partner, Jeffrey Ilstrup.
He will be sadly missed by sister Jennie Mott; four brothers, Randolph (Christine), Peter (Paula), Jon and Richard (Sherry); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
VISITATION: 11 a.m. Monday April 14, 2014 in Nelson Funeral Care, 1004 Cloquet Ave. in Cloquet. A celebration of Dan’s life will follow at the River Inn in Scanlon.
