Johnson, Dietel Russell “Russ” Age 85, of Coon Rapids, passed away Sept. 13, 2016. Preceded in death by first wife, Evelyn; parents and two brothers. Survived by second wife, Faye; children: Barton, Thomas, Jessica, Rebecca and Christopher; step-children: Tamara, Michelle and Steven, their spouses, 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Dan (Carol); many relatives and friends. Proud Marine and Korean War veteran. Worked 33 years with the Minneapolis Police Department, retiring as a Detective Supervisor in 1991. Loved God, his family and the Twins. Memorial service 11 AM Tuesday, Sept. 20 at the Presbyterian Church of the Master, 789 Northdale Blvd NW, Coon Rapids. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
