New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, & Christmas Day. (Contract section 13.1)

What information does CRA or IAD have to give me before giving a statement? |

Before a formal statement is taken, the employee is entitled to a summary of allegations. The summary shall include date and time, location, alleged acts, and policies/procedures violated. (Contract section 4.4)

When do I get my uniform allowance and how much do I get? |

The annual uniform allowance is paid on or about June 1st. The amount reimbursed is figured by a cost index that measures the percentage change from year to year for purchasing a clothing and equipment from a list of equipment that is needed for the job. (Contract section 8.1 & 8.3) |

How do I find out if I am due for a new vest? |

Does the Federation have fundraising telemarketing? |

The Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis has hired a professional fundraiser to perform all fundraising on its behalf. Midwest Publishing, Inc. is a local fundraising group that conducts both residential and business telemarketing projects that are continuous throughout the year. Midwest Publishing, Inc. is the only authorized professional fundraiser to work on our behalf. All of Midwest Publishing Inc.’s contacts with the public are made by telephone and contributions are invoiced by mail. |
